Single Ticket Patrons

Ticket purchases do incur fees of $7.00 per ticket unless you are a subscriber, a senior, student, industry, or ACCESS patron. The cost of these fees go towards many things, but largely they aid in the upkeep costs of the theatre itself, physical tickets, our ticketing software, and our new print-at-home ticket scanners. Fees are waived for any ticket purchases made in person at the Box Office.

Life happens and we understand that plans change. Audience Services is more than happy to help you find solutions when you need to change the date of your purchased performance. PTC does not charge exchange fees. But there are circumstances when the difference in the cost of the ticket itself will require additional payment. This can occur when you are exchanging into a more expensive performance (for example, from a preview to a weekday/weekend, or from a weekday to a weekend) and/or if you are upgrading your seat location. Whatever your priority, we can help you find the best solution, so please contact us to assist you.

If you find you have a ticket you cannot use, you can donate it back to Philadelphia Theatre Company to resell. You will receive a ticket donation acknowledgment via email and (bonus!) it is tax deductible. Even small contributions like this make a difference for our organization and we truly appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Flexibility is one of our core values. Simply put: yes, you may request a refund for tickets purchased at or for events at Philadelphia Theatre Company. Tickets can be refunded up to curtain time. We cannot, however, issue refunds for the events that have already happened. We also cannot refund orders dating back to the previous fiscal year. If you are unhappy with your experience at Philadelphia Theatre Company please let Audience Services know and we will work with you to find a solution.

*As a general note: Please take care when you are ordering online that you are ordering through our website and not a third party ticket seller. Philadelphia Theatre Company is not responsible for any tickets you’ve purchased outside of our company. We do recommend checking any email confirmation you may have received for help seeking a refund.

Subscribers

You may incur a one-time subscriber handling fee for any new subscription purchased, or if purchasing after the renewal deadline for returning subscribers. Additional tickets purchased outside your subscription will also incur the $7.00 single ticket handling fee. Fees are waived for any ticket purchases made in person at the Box Office.

Ways To Save

Patrons who are theatre industry professionals may purchase industry tickets at the cost of $25 per ticket (limit of two per person) either by phone or by visiting the box office in person. Please plan to provide proof of your industry status at the time of purchase or when picking up your tickets at will call. This can be an email address associated with another theatre company, a listing on a theatre website, an Industry Card (provided through Theatre Philadelphia), etc.

Patrons who are at and over the age of 65 may purchase tickets at the senior rate. This rate waives any ticketing fees for your purchase.

ACCESS cardholders (those PA residents who monitor their government-issued cash, food or medical benefits with an EBT card), are invited to show their card to pay the deeply discounted rate of $2 per person (for the Cardholder and up to 3 additional people). These can be reserved in advance by phone, but we must see your card and a valid ID when you come to pick up your tickets.

A group of 10 or more attendees qualifies your order for a discounted group rate! Please contact Audience Services at audienceservices@philatheatreco.org so we can organize the best seats for your group at an affordable price.

If you are a teacher looking to take your class out to see one of our performances, please contact Audience Services at audienceservices@philatheatreco.org to discuss pricing and seating. And yes, this rate does differ from our regular group rate!
