Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

March 21 through April 20

by Christopher Durang
directed by James J. Christy

Vanya and his sister Sonia live a quiet life in the Bucks County farmhouse where they grew up. When their movie star sister Masha returns home unannounced with Spike, her twenty-something boy-toy in tow, an unforgettable weekend ensues. By the end of their impromptu family reunion, this lovable bunch won’t ever be the same. Durang riffs on Anton Chekhov’s most famous themes in this laugh-out-loud funny, yet unexpectedly moving American comedy.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike runs approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes including one 15 minute intermission.
